Integrator to offer Citel Portico™ TVA™ to Accelerate IP Telephony Adoption
SEATTLE – January 8, 2008 – Citel, the VoIP Migration CompanyTM (LSE AIM: CITE.L), today announced it will supply its PorticoTM Telephone VoIP Adapter (TVATM) to ATIS Telecommunicatie B.V. (ATIS), a leading Dutch telecommunications equipment reseller. With Portico TVA, ATIS will now be able to offer its call center customers a robust, cost-effective alternative to “rip and replace” VoIP migration.
Portico TVA, manufactured by Citel, enables organizations to connect existing digital (PBX), P phone (Centrex), or analog handsets to a new IP PBX or hosted IP platform. It interoperates with IP call control platforms from Asterisk, Avaya, BroadSoft, Cisco, MetaSwitch, Nortel, and Sylantro; and more than 100 handset types including Avaya Definity, Ericsson, NEC DTERM, Nortel Meridian®, Norstar®, and P phone, Panasonic DBS, Siemens optiset® and optiPoint™, and Toshiba Strata DK.
