Citel. The VoIP Migration Company

Citel Appoints Vice President of Marketing

SEATTLE, Washington - January 10, 2006 - Citel Technologies, the VoIP Migration Company™, today announced that Leigh Fatzinger has joined the company as Vice President of Marketing.

Mr. Fatzinger is responsible for the company's global corporate marketing, brand, PR and communications strategy.  He was most recently Executive Director of Marketing for Adaptix, where he led the marketing and brand strategy initiatives for the company's mobile WiMAX product line. Over the last 10 years, he has worked in senior marketing and business development positions for several early stage wireless and wireline companies including Terabeam, LightPointe and Andavo.

"This is a very exciting space to be in right now, as the hosted VoIP services segment is expected to grow to a billion dollar market within the next couple of years," Fatzinger said. "Citel's VoIP migration products accelerate this trend by leveraging PBX investments an enterprise has already made, making the transition to VoIP simple and cost-effective."

Mike Robinson, Citel's CEO, added, "With the completion of the MCK Communications acquisition in 2005, Citel has built the most robust VoIP migration product portfolio in the industry.  We welcome Leigh's expertise to further develop our brand leadership and position in the IP telephony market."

Citel's Extender and Portico TVA products have enabled thousands of SMBs (small- to medium sized-businesses) and larger enterprises to migrate to next-generation IP telephony while leveraging existing PBX infrastructure investments, translating into significant cost-savings and productivity gains compared to other VoIP solutions. In addition, Citel's products can be deployed on-site for companies requiring complete control of their VoIP network, or in a hosted environment, offering maximum flexibility and minimal maintenance.
